Summer Party 2026

Summer is the perfect time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished and enjoy some well-deserved time together. 

Our summer party was a wonderful chance to celebrate our achievements as a team, spend quality time together, and create new memories over great food, conversations, and plenty of laughs.  

Strong teams aren’t built only through hard work, they also grow through shared experiences and moments like these. A big thank you to Friz Biochem team and to Opto GmbH, mbiomics GmbH, Baseclick GmbH and invicon diagnostic concepts GmbH for organizing such a wonderful event! 

Now it’s time to recharge, enjoy the summer, and continue with fresh energy for the exciting challenges ahead.

We’re proud to announce the certification of 10 new products under Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVDR), expanding our portfolio of fast, reliable, and compliant molecular diagnostic solutions for clinical laboratories.

Our IVDR-certified portfolio now covers a broad range of applications, including:

• COVID-19 direct RT-PCR for SARS-CoV-2 detection

🧪 Gastrointestinal diagnostics
• GastroBac, GastroVir1, GastroVir2, and Helicobacter direct PCR assays covering key bacterial, viral, and resistance targets

🏥 Hospital-acquired infections
• MRSA direct PCR for detection of methicillin-resistant and/or

🚀 Milestone achieved: IVDR certification for GastroBac direct PCR

GastroBac direct  PCR is designed to provide fast, reliable, and accurate detection of major gastro-intestinal bacterial pathogens, including:

• Campylobacter spp.
• Salmonella spp.
• Shigella spp. / enteroinvasive E. coli (EIEC)
• Yersinia enterocolitica
• Yersinia pseudotuberculosis

Diagnostics-4-Future

Two of our colleagues joined the Diagnostics-4-Future Conference 2025 in Konstanz and came back energized with new contacts, ideas, and inspiration.

It was a great experience to explore the latest developments in AI-based diagnostics, innovative approaches to combating antibiotic resistance, the challenges of overdiagnosis, and sustainable, green diagnostics.

The event offered an exciting look into current trends and innovations across diagnostics, life sciences, and MedTech.

Many thanks to BioLAGO e.V. – the health network for organizing such a fantastic event – we’re already looking forward to next year!
